Like good sirloin, we’ve aged well

Established in 1920, McLaren’s, like most kiwi business started small on the principles of hard work and genuine care. Fast-forward more than a century and McLaren has built a global reputation for automated food processing machinery.

Third generation Rob McLaren joined the business as a sheet metal apprentice in 1992 working his way up to Managing Director in 2010. Rob has driven continual expansion and diversification – investing in technology while building McLaren’s experienced highly-skilled team along the way.

In 2022, Rob sold part of McLaren’s operation to global agricultural manufacturer Hustler Equipment. This move has allowed McLaren to focus it’s smarts on continuing to develop industry leading food processing machinery.
